Ich schließe mich an, bitte nicht für den 3DS. Der 3DS hat inzwischen 7 Jahre auf dem Buckel und war bereits bei der Markteinführung technisch unterdimensioniert, kann man das Teil nicht endlich mal einmotten?
Meinetwegen sollen sie das Ding weiter mit Kirby Spielen, Pokemon Spin-offs und anderem Kram melken, aber nicht mit einem weiteren Zelda.

Ich seh' da nichts negatives. Es wäre sogar mal wieder einen Grund den 3DS zu entstauben, nachdem er die letzten Monate oder fast schon Jahre kaum noch zum Zug kam. Natürlich hätte ich lieber eine Switch-Version, aber da Links Awakening einer meiner liebsten Zelda-Titel ist, würde ich es auch auf dem 3DS zocken.

Bei mir erlebt der 3DS gerade seinen zweiten Frühling dank Bravely Second und (danach) Ace Attorney 6. Kann gerne noch mehr Games geben

Nintendo Switch Tops US Sales In December, 3DS Sales Highest Since 2014

According to Nintendo, the NPD Group figures show that, collectively, the different versions of Nintendo 3DS hardware sold more than 750,000 units in the US during the most festive of months - that's a 27% increase over the same period a year ago. That means the 'Nintendo 3DS family of systems' has hit a a new milestone of more than 21 million sold in the US alone.

Nintendo Is Continuing To Develop New Software For Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo has reconfirmed its commitment to the Nintendo 3DS in their latest financial briefing. The system continues to sell well so naturally the company says that it is continuing to develop new software for the platform.

“Although sales are trending lower than last year, the results from our seventh holiday season sales have maintained stable levels. As explained during the financial results briefing in October of last year, the Nintendo 3DS family of hardware has continued to sell steadily without significant fall-off, even after the release of Nintendo Switch.

Overall totals for 2017 were down compared to 2016 when Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon had globally intense sales levels, but exceeded 2015 in the US and European markets.

A multitude of titles across a wide variety of genres have been released for Nintendo 3DS, creating one of the strongest lineups ever. We are, of course, continuing to develop new software, but we believe it is important to leverage the rich library of Nintendo 3DS series titles to drive sales with Nintendo 3DS owners, as well as consumers who recently purchased Nintendo 3DS hardware.”

Gut so! Mag den 3DS nach wie vor sehr gerne und gefällt mir, dass, wenn schon die Wii U viel zu schnell verschwunden ist, immerhin der 3DS noch ein Weilchen weitergeführt wird - ganz wie damals GBA und DS.

Finde es auch super. Fand das Line Up 2017 schon brauchbar und bin insbesondere wegen meiner Wohnsituation letztes Jahr vermehrt zum Handheldgaming gekommen als gewohnt.

Außerdem ist der Meldung ja zu entnehmen, dass man insbesondere ältere Titel verstärkt ins Rampenlicht rücken möchte. Wird dann vermutlich weitere Selects Titel geben.

Hätte zwar noch genug Spiele dafür, aber die Zeit nutz ich lieber für die Switch.

Weder Monster Hunter, noch Metroid, Kirby oder Mario Party konnten mich die letzten Monate, bzw. Jahre vor den 3DS locken. Auf 'ner Heimkonsole hätte ich wohl das eine oder andere Spiel durchaus gespielt.

Kimishima Says Nintendo Has Plans For The 3DS In 2019 And Beyond

When the Nintendo Switch launched, it was a foregone conclusion that the Wii U would be axed, but many wondered where the new hybrid would put the 3DS. The now antiquated console has certainly had its time in the sun, and given that the Switch is a technically superior handheld, it seemed likely that the company would shift its total focus to the new platform. While it may be true that Nintendo is mostly focused on the Switch now, the 3DS has stuck around for longer than expected, and recent comments suggest that it isn’t going anywhere.

In the latest financial results briefing, Tatsumi Kimishima announced that Nintendo has plans for new software on the 3DS through 2019 “and beyond”, suggesting that not only is the company not getting rid of the 3DS anytime soon, but that it might just continue right alongside the Switch. Here’s what was said:

The Nintendo 3DS family of systems has reached a global cumulative series sell-in of 72 million units to a broad array of consumers.

Nintendo 3DS boasts a rich lineup of game software, with more than 1,000 titles across a wide variety of genres.

We will continue the Nintendo 3DS business by leveraging its installed base and rich software library. We believe it is important to leverage the rich library of Nintendo 3DS series titles to drive sales with existing Nintendo 3DS owners as well as with consumers who recently purchased the Nintendo 3DS hardware, and are investigating strategies for doing so.

In addition to the titles currently on sale, we have announced the coming release of the titles shown here. We are even preparing new software for release in 2019 and beyond. Our plan is to continue maintaining this business by taking advantage of new titles like these.
