MARIO KART LIVE: HOME CIRCUIT'S PACKAGE INCLUDES THE SOFTWARE AS A DOWNLOAD CODE

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit was revealed today, and it gives us a whole new way to play Mario Kart. The combination of a real-life mini-kart and software playable on Switch is sure to make for a truly unique experience, and a somewhat costly one as well. The entire package is priced at $100, and while there's no doubt the bulk of that cost is due to the kart, it unfortunately didn't warrant a game card. Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit's software will be distributed in the package as a download code, rather than a physical cartridge.

Gilt dae auch als limitiert?

Richtig limitiert oder Nintendo-"Ja, mal gucken, evtl verkaufen wir das länger und haben viel zu viel produziert"-limitiert?

Naja, jedenfalls eine nette Spielerei, aber wer hat denn schon den Platz um sich so ne Rennstrecke toll aufzubauen? Und dazu noch zu dem Preis, ohne physikalisches Spiel dabei. Nee Danke. Da warte ich auf ein gutes Angebot um es mir dann verschweisst ins Regal zu stellen.

Meine beiden Varianten sind gestern eingetroffen - da die download-exklusive Software aber erst ab morgen verfügbar ist, nützt es mir im Moment noch nichts.

Erste Runden heute gedreht, aber noch nicht sehr erfolgreich. Habe alle Rennen gegen meinen Junior verloren. Aber teils schon erstaunlich, was da alles mitreingepackt wurde. Hindernisse wie Wind oder Magnete, die das Fahrverhalten spürbar beeinflussen.

Etwas ärgerlich ist die Begrenzung auf 5 Meter, da sonst die Verbindung abbricht, die auch sonst einen nicht allzu stabilen Eindruck macht.
