Beautiful design makes up for Xenoblade's graphical shortcomings –
but it's disappointing that the dialogue isn't lip-synced.

This is the best that the Wii can do, but it's not really up to modern
standards. The artistic direction makes up for a lack of technical grunt.
8.5 Sound
A super, varied score with generally excellent localised voice acting.
After 35 hours or so you'll have heard one or two of the battle the-
mes a few too many times, though.
9.0 Gameplay
A fantastic battle system and literally hundreds of optional quests
make this a more exciting experience minute-to-minute than most
other games in its genre. There's repetition, but it doesn't grate.
9.0 Lasting Appeal
There's so much of Xenoblade Chronicles that you can't even tell
when the end is in sight. A true epic.

Closing Comments
Xenoblade Chronicles is the best Japanese RPG of this generation.
The fact that it looks like it's from the last generation is its only draw-
back, but its technical limitations are offset by imaginative artistic di-
rection, innovative and compelling combat, and thoughtful design.
It's a throwback to the glory days of the genre, proof that there are
always new ways to tell a story. If you've ever felt neglected by the
lack of in-depth gaming epics on the Wii, you owe it to yourself to
buy this.

Scheint wirklich ein Hammertitel zu sein, bloss Zeit hab ich momentan keine zum Zocken. Landet wohl auch auf meiner unendlich langen "Muss ich noch spielen"-Liste.

Vermute mal stark, dass es sich dabei um den Soundtrack handelt, den die Australier auf CD als Bonusprämie bekommen.

Kostenloser Soundtrack zu Xenoblade Chronicles
Ähnlich zur Soundtrack-Aktion bei The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D bietet Nintendo jetzt den Soundtrack zum RPG Xenoblade Chronicles an. Diesmal wird es allerdings keine CD per Post geben, sondern man kann ihn nur als Download bekommen.

Um die Download-Berechtigung zu erhalten, muss man sein Exemplar des Spiels vor dem 30.09. im Nintendo-Club registrieren. Wenn man das getan hat, wird man für eine begrenzte Zeit, den Soundtrack kostenlos herunterladen können. Wie lange dieser Zeitraum andauern wird, wurde nicht bekannt gegeben.

Ja stimmt schon! Aber du hast dir das Spiel doch eh schon vorbestellt oder? Hätten ja wenigstens für die Limited Edition-Vorbesteller diesen Soundtrack auf CD beilegen können. Naja hier mal ein Vergleich der beiden Versionen des Soundtrracks.

Bin noch nicht viel dank dem schönen Wetter momentan zum spielen gekommen. Erst eine Stunde mal das Spiel angetestet. Aber es ist jetzt schon genial nur die Schrift find ich 2-3 Ecken etwas klein geraten, wenn man dauerend die Untertitel mitlesen muss/will. Ist das ganze nach einer Weile doch etwas anstrengend.

PS: Wo kann man sich die MP3's runterladen habe auf der Nintendo Homepage immer noch nichts gefunden? :uthinking: Ist aber nicht so schlimm, da ich schon längere Zeit den kompletten Ost mit 4 CD's habe. Leider aber nicht als Original.
