Re: [WiiU eShop] The 90's Arcade Racer
Bin echt mal gespannt.

Re: [WiiU eShop] The 90's Arcade Racer
Ich bin eigentlich auch kein grosser Rennspielfreund (von Mario Kart mal abgesehen), aber bei solchen klassischen Arcade-Racer in der Art von Out Run oder Rad Racer hab' ich immer mal gerne ne Runde gedreht.

Re: [WiiU eShop] The 90's Arcade Racer
Rumor: 90s Arcade Racer No Longer Coming to Wii U?
While third-party support has been limited on the Wii U, and racing fans felt the burn of Project CARS skipping the Wii U, 90s Arcade Racer was a promising looking game that looked to be able to fill a needed void on the console. After a successful crowdfunding with the Wii U and PC as goals, the game has been a bit quiet since late 2015.
A listing has now appeared on the official Nicalis page, and there’s a few things worth noting. The game is now known as 90s Super GP, and the game now has a Fall 2016 release date. What’s even more interesting is that the game is listed as PS4 and Xbox One only, which were not on the Kickstarter.
Are Wii U (and PC) owners going to be getting burned again? We will keep you updated!

Unfassbar, eine absolute Frechheit gegenüber den ganzen Backern.
Verständlich, dass die empört sind und ihr Geld zurückverlangen:

"Antonis Pelekanos and Tyrone Rodriguez (Nicalis, Inc.),
I, Marcelo Nietto and all others 699 supporters, we believed in the game "The 90's Arcade Racer" on kickstarter.
"The 90's Arcade Racer" promised to be a beautiful and exciting racing game, but unfortunately, became a vaporware after these 3 years and 3 months have passed. The game was backed since 02.17.2013 and release date was Nov / 2013.
Now is may / 2016 and we do not have the game, we do not have updates, we do not have demo, we do not have no answers and no release date!!!
We want a firm positioning of you about a release date or about the refund all of us.
The world does not need more people like you, the world needs better people.
We are tired of this lack of respect..."
"Two people (Tyrone and Antonis) and a publisher (Nicalis) who have only disrespect for their financial supporters and customers. Grabbing the money via Kickstarter and vanish. That's what gives a bad view on Kickstarter projects."

Re: [WiiU eShop] The 90's Arcade Racer
Die neverending Story geht in die nächste Runde
90s Arcade Racer lives on as ’90s Super GP on Switch
’90s Arcade Racer had a slightly rocky start a few years back. After meeting its funding goal on Kickstarter, the game was cancelled and then sold to The Binding of Isaac and Cave Story+ publisher Nicalis. Since that turn of events, we haven’t heard anything about the game. Yet, here we are today with a new update from the publisher.
The game’s page on Nicalis’ that ’90s Arcade Racer is now “’90s Super GP” and much like Cave Story+ and some of their other games, they’ll be bringing this one to the Nintendo Switch. Nicalis hasn’t provided an update on a release date for the game, but here are the features listed on their website:
- Intense stock car, supercar and formula racing in the style of the best arcade racers of the 1990s
- Bright colors, crazy track layouts and dance music evoke the golden era of arcade racing games
- Finely tuned driving physics with precision handling and old-school drifting
- 12 unique vehicles with different attributes and customizable colors
- Six dynamic and shortcut-filled courses, three of which have “Long” and “Short” variations
- Arcade mode for quick races in any unlocked vehicle on any unlocked course
- Championship mode with four circuits in each of the stock, supercar and formula racing classes
- Local and online multiplayer modes, online leaderboards
