Neues zu Mario Odyssey wird es auf jeden Fall mal geben. Dazu hat Hideki Kamiya von Platinum den Tweet mit der Direct ebenfalls geteilt. :uconfused:

Nintendo Reveals Additional Details About Nintendo World Championships 2017

During a video unveiled today, Nintendo announced some exciting new details about the upcoming Nintendo World Championships 2017. Thousands of competitors across the country competed in seven regional qualifiers, with 16 top players across two age brackets qualifying to travel to New York to compete against one another in Nintendo World Championships on Oct. 7. The event is a multi-game tournament that challenges players of all ages to compete in a gauntlet of games representing the past and present of Nintendo games and systems that fans will know and love. Today, Nintendo revealed just one of the many games to be included the tournament: the recently released Metroid: Samus Returns game for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems.

“Nintendo World Championships 2017 is more than just another video game tournament,” said Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “It is a celebration of Nintendo games old and new, and Nintendo fans past and present. Kids, parents and gamers of all ages will be thrilled by the excitement of seeing who will come out on top.”

Included among the qualifying players are a few dedicated competitors who traveled to multiple locations across the country to secure their spot in the tournament, as well as the winner of the Nintendo World Championships 2015, who earned his way back in to defend his title. The 16 qualifying players will be joined by 8 players invited to compete from across the country and around the world, including talented speed-runners, tournament players and online personalities from the United States, Europe, Canada and Mexico. These invitees include actor and Super Smash Bros. tournament player Asa Butterfield and WWE Superstar Bayley.

When the big event kicks off in New York on Oct. 7, it will be hosted by Nintendo fan and online personality Andrea Rene, with play-by-play and analysis by gamer, sports broadcaster and Nintendo fan Jordan Kent.

The Nintendo World Championships 2017 event will be livestreamed at https://nwc.nintendo.com starting at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT on Oct. 7. Fans who are already in New York will have the opportunity to witness all the action in person. A limited number of free tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis outside Manhattan Center’s Grand Ballroom the day of the event (minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).

New Super Nintendo World details emerge

GameXplain has uploaded a video providing a general overview of the new details that have come out for Super Nintendo World coming to Universal Studios Florida. In it, we find that the theme park will be 8.8 acres in size, and is planned to be built behind Simpsons Land.

It has been confirmed there will be a Donkey Kong section in addition to a Mario Kart section, with the former taking up 4.7 acres, and the latter 1.76 acres, leaving 2.4 acres left for the rest of Super Nintendo World. There may also be plans to build more Nintendo-themed attractions in the future.

It is estimated to take three years to build.

30 Jahre Mega Man: Capcom plant Livestream

:uconfused:

New Rumors Speculate A Nintendo Direct For January 11

There are many rumors that Nintendo will offer a new Nintendo Direct this month. Now the question is: when will this new edition be celebrated? Today we hear new rumors that point to next week as a possible date.

The main speculation comes from the member of ResetERA John Harker, who has shared a date for the presentation. Harker has provided all kinds of accurate information in the past before it was confirmed, including news about Call of Duty. He also advanced several aspects of Switch before the official presentation of last year.

Emily Rogers, who has also hit with some rumors in the past in relation to Nintendo, claims to have heard that there will be Nintendo Direct on January 11.

It is necessary to emphasize that all these are rumors and that nothing is confirmed. However, we will be attentive to more details.

Labo's Cardboard Revolution Adds Almost $1.4 billion To Nintendo's Value

A year ago, the reveal of Nintendo Switch helped swell Nintendo's market value by a staggering $1 billion, and now, mere months before the release of Nintendo Labo, the Japanese firm's worth has shot up by another 2.4%. That might not sound like a big percentage, until you realise that translates into a tasty $1.4 billion, closing out its market performance on a seven-week high.

As we know, Labo's reveal has seen Twitter and the internet frothing with takes of various temperatures, but that clearly hasn't stopped the economic impact from playing firmly into Nintendo's favour. In a report by the Financial Times, financial analyst David Gibson (of investment firm Macquarie) reacts positively to Ninty's divisive cardboard creations, saying: "This is exactly the kind of crazy idea that Nintendo are known for which we believe will help expand the company’s audience." He made the prediction that Nintendo Labo would initially sell somewhere between 1m and 2m units - which is around $45m-$90m in operating profits.

Nintendo Has Applied For Nine Trademarks Including Wario Land

Nintendo has recently filed for nine trademarks for ‘downloadable videogame programs’. The trademarks are for the Octo image as well as Dillon’s Dead-Heat Breakers, Luigi’s Mansion, Mario & Luigi, Metroid, Metroid Prime, Smash Bros., Wario Land and WarioWare. Japanese Nintendo points out that this is the second time this year that Wario Land has been trademarked, so hopefully something will come of that.
